Hi Beau here, a 71 year old retiree, pensioner. I have built a teardrop camper with an isuzu 4 wheel drive with a 3meter tinnie with electric outboard. looking to grey normad in queensland and south to south australia, looking for Redclaw and mudcrab in  qld and Squid everywhere else. I am not really a fisherman but i do love the outdoors.
My homemade teardrop camper has an air conditioner run by solar and batteries for nth qld in the summer.
I am not a fan of bureaucracy particularly when they are too lazy to get it right.
I lived in California for 10 years.
I designed and built a 40ft aluminium shallow draft Trimaran which would fit inside a 40ft shipping container. cruised to Sulawesi in Indonesia. I made the mistake of going through west papua, held up by pirates, saved by Indonesias

The Australian Federal Police at Thursday Island recommended that i should not take a gun to west papua, because i would use it and then be hacked to death by machetes, i took their advice.

As long he does not go on a long weekend that is ;)

Your Teardrop camper build would be good to hear about. There is a DIY project section on here
