Ctex 5.0

Repco has them for $99 on special ATM
2-160 amp batteries of most types can be charged with this little unit.

Ideal for the larger boat that sits idle for weeks or months between uses as has the float management system where it will draw the batteries down and recharge them for best performance as monitors it over 14day cycle.
At that price get one for each battery.

Guys at work use them on their race cars and street machines that only get used few times per year, reckon it does away with flat batteries or ones that die after coping a full recharge of sitting idle for months. Nothing worse than being stranded by flat battery.
One guy has battery going on 6yrs and reckons the ctex charger if the reason with the monitoring system it has

    Hey Crew,

Just a quick note and revival of this old thread ...

I was doing some research re a new battery charger and came across this thread and others on here where the C-Tek 5.0 is mentioned and given solid accolades.

Anyway, I decided to buy one as my old charger was near on 20 years young and didn't have any of the new modern fancy functionality.

So, FWIW, Repco have the MXS 5.0 on sale / special until Sunday.
