Look but for your saftey DONT take the tinny past it you dont want to mess around with them and small boats any navy gets jumpy around small fast moving boats.
Of course I talk to my self while fishing.. sometimes I need expert advice!

On land line is a inanimate object. Under water it has a life of its own.

Probably not the Chinese in POB at this stage Steve, they only own Darwin Harbour Facilities and the Port proper at this stage plus a couple of runways they are building in WA to take the largest carrier plane they have in their airforce, not suggesting their setting themselves up for anything untoward within the next 15 to 20 years, just saying

    Not likely.
The Japs where tied up downstream of the RR and the other US vessel.

Plenty of the smaller vessels still to bunker and take stores in the short term.

    https://qships.tmr.qld.gov.au/webx/#

Regular users of this site be able pick when the unlisted vessels be able arrive or depart.

The free app "vessel finder" able see most vessels location and info on them.
Working beside the river helps as well ;)

In my experience of warships in the 'River, the only ones I've ever felt nervous around are the US ones.....they train a gun turret on you as you pass...and follow you until out of range. I reckon those nervous b#stards would open fire given half a chance.
The Water police launch and inflatable re there to escort you away from the area, so don't fight them just slow down a bit and travel alongside them. They DO really annoy me when they run right across your path though.
