Does that mean a limit of 20 winter whiting? If so it won’t be worth putting the boat in the water.

    Max, winter whiting has an in possession limit of 50per person, so I hope the 20 does not apply here...

    They are coming up with a similar regional system  to Western Australia has 4 of them  and saying they going  divide the fishery into 6 regions base on fish species   Well that's 2 more than WA  in which we have less coast line & land mass than WA

    See all divide into 3 crabbing fishery as well into Mud crab Gulf of Carpentaria,Mud crab East & blue swimmer state wide

    They saying having boat limit for priority black market species 
    Gee they haven't controlled it yet over the years

    so what's going be different  let's hope the penalties become more harder and judges follow it through

    I hope that putting a bag limit of 20 on qu ter whiting doesnt eventuate.  I agree its not worth putting your boat in the watwr...
