As mentioned previously, I did enter, as a number of members in our club did. The fishing was hard but there were some great results, if you read the board put up by Nugget.

Myself I got a 3rd overall in the Flathead and 1st on Sunday.

The competition was great even if you didn't fish, just for the entertainment at the weigh-in and on the beach, especially on the Saturday night, I'll leave it to others to tell the stories, there was more than me involved.

I regard it as a top competition, which will be even better next year. (One secret, it will be run Tuesday to Saturday, in the one week so you can have Sunday to clean up and recover.)
