Yep, been hearing ads on the radio all day that prawns and worms are banned from being transported right down to the Qld/NSW border.

And what done did the importer get for allowing infected prawns to be sold in Australia?
Self assessment or Aqics approve the that container contents safe for sale here.?

Bloody sick joke as what happened start of 2017 that wsd prawns are still being imported .

Are the Logan River infected ponds been allowed to start farming again yet?
Thought June 2018 was earmarked date to restart operations

Got a link to the story?

The Gold Coast supplier selling prawns with white spot, got a $10,000 fine. and no name of the company or person was given. To light of a fine in my eyes.

Typical of Government , they only lifted the ban because either Taiwan or Vietnamese Government complained their prawn farmers were feeling the pain of not selling their prawns. It was in the press some time ago.

At only $10k if every 2nd container slips through that has was then they still make money.

The company's doesn't care about Aussie fish stocks.

2nd offence the directors better do jail time as a real detergent and ensure our laws are completed to

I doubt the local supplier is shipping prawns out by the container. Its more likely the importers are shipping them in by the container load
