Hopefully not long now.
« on: Wed 2 May 19:39 2018 »
Just back from Greenslopes complete with new hip.Managing well with elbow crutches or walking sticks if I am feeling smart. Managing ok getting into car and have driver lined up.
Had no worries in the trip home so it is just a matter of being able to bend and swivel my bum into the boat. Not allowed to bend my hip past 90 degrees at this stage so it will still be a couple of weeks before I can wet a line. Doc seems happy with that as long as i do not get stuck into a barra.
Cheers
Ray

Hi Ray,

That's good news everything went well. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Saw the specialist yesterday and got the all clear with a few restrictions.
Not allowed to cross my legs, cut toenails or tie up shoelaces for a few more weeks.
Nothing about tieing fishing lines so have arranged to go to NPD tomorrow in Ricks boat. I wanted to go today but was unable to change physio appointment,
Be a couple of weeks before I go out by myself again.
At least being at home I have been able to redesign my shrimp traps.
    Cheers
    Ray
