I had a look at the passage this morning. I was surprised when I got there that the tide was so far in - I knew it would be low and rising, but I expected it to be near the turn. Reminder to self - check the tide times before you go, you idiot!!! Had to delay putting the pots down while I pumped some yabbies before the banks went under, Pumped about a hundred big yabbies and had the pots in the water by 7.00a.m. My low tide spot for summeries was already flooded too much by the rising tide so I went straight to my mid-tide spot. Got a few summeries straight away (best about 34cm) but they soon went off as the water got too deep. Moved around a bit but could not find any more, only heaps of undersize bream, a few tarwhine and half a dozen stingrays. Ran the pots for 3 keepers, then went for a run up to Glasshouse Creek to see if there were any prawns about. Checked out the first kilometer and a half of the creek but couldn't find any prawns at all. Picked up the pots for another three keepers and came in about 11.00. Pretty quiet day really
