Merimbula Whiting
« on: Wed 28 Feb 03:13 2018 »
I get down to Merimbula in southern NSW about mid to late Feb every couple of years and each time my whiting catch improves at my favourite spot off the beach near the mouth of the river. First time down there two 38cm whiting, last time 13 whiting between 27 to 33cm, this time - well take a look at these fat girls in the photo. Amazing what a difference a little bit of experience can make.

I've been doing some work down that way of late. There is some fantastic fishy country down there!
