WHITING BITING
« on: Mon 12 Feb 20:45 2018 »
Headed out to rous on saturday. Drifted normal spot but very quiet. We then headed over to fishermans gutter after Charlie told us about it.

Lucky he did because we ended up with 62 nice whiting.

Nice work Mate. Is fishermans gutter north of the Rous or is it part of the small boat passage?

I can never find it.

Cheers
Bermo

Thanks guys. Seahorse I'm heading Saturday, those marks would be sensational if possible. Happy to trade a couple of my whiting marks I have if you need/want them.

Many thanks

Is the Clontarf ramp open? I thought it was closed for a month or so.

Hey Seahorse,
Sorry for the delay. Thanks for the marks mate. We got into a good patch around the southwestern mark you gave me. Three of us got 20 nice ones in half hour. We moved on to harries and got an undersized school mackerel on a live whiting.
We headed checked the pots and worked them across the wello point-ormiston flats for a 11 muddiesn shallow water.

Unfortunately the photos are to big to attach

Appreciate the help mate.

Cheers
Bermo
