Club trips
« on: Fri 5 Jan 19:15 2018 »
I am looking at putting together a few trips this year and looking to see if there is any interest.

As you probably already know the club has access to canoes/sailing boats and ribs and we need to use them.
So the trips i have in mind are some boys weekends and also some family trips, just looking for interest at the moment before i waste the time and effort on organizing.

Family trips,
Logans inlet ( Wivenhoe ) great facilities and great for the kids that would like to try sailing and canoeing.

Borumba Dam  ( family or boys ) camping on a private farm 4 k's from the dam

Also have some great spots a bit further out and would need a few more days

All i am asking is anybody keen to get away and maybe share some outdoor fun
open to suggestions on other places.

Post your interest and ideas and we can set some dates, we can coincide with weigh in weekends or whatever

These trips are not only about fishing and will include prospecting/camp cooking/canoeing and anything else.

You know your always welcome and will let you know about already planned trips but have given up on trying to get people involved.

Few trips already planned with Harro Fitz and Nugget who is always keen but unfortunately has to work around his media commitments.

    Keep you informed

Maybe a beach camping/fishing trip in winter there used to be one up to noosa North shore which was always good. Camp fire cooking friday night n hopefully a beach worm pulling demo Saturday morning by some one that can for those like me that are hopeless at it.

South would also be an option but would either need to be setup for that or stay in one of the caravan parks on the water. Vs noosa where you can camp on the beach.
Looking forward to the next trip

I would be keen, either the father son arrangements or family trips.
    Thanks
