Hello,

Just wondering what type of single hook do you use on small slugs instead of the trebles?

Thanks

Mick

Suggest have a look at the hook on Maria Micro Jigs in your tackle shop. Have seen a video of guys catching a large Golden Trevally on one in Noosa River.

Sorry Wettinney, the hook on the Maria jig is a treble. Hook on my "Braid Sailfin" 7g micro jig & is a single O'Shaughnessy style hook snelled on heavy braid line inside a plastic tube and onto a ring which is then attached to a split ring. Got mine from Tackleworld at Lawnton.

You can use something like a Mustad 10121NPDT Kaiju In-Line Single , the following is a link to a sale https://www.hookedonline.com.au/hooks/ and they are good guys or use stingers such as on jigs, plenty on utube & google showing setups
