CLUB FUND RAISER BBQ
« on: Sat 30 Sep 15:56 2017 »
Next Sat October 7, the Club has been offered the opportunity to run a BBQ at the opening of the new independent tackle store at Slack's Creek - 'Bait Tackle Store'.

Store owner Ivan has offered to buy the sausages etc, all we have to do is cook them.
We are still working out the finer details but we will sell drinks and run a raffle on the day as well.

We need some helpers to help setup, cook and serve etc.
If you have an hour free, please post here that you can come down - the events start at 9am.
I'll be there from around 8am to set up until after lunch.
Anyone that would be keen to give a fishing talk or demo through the day - please PM me, we'd like to make the day as interesting as possible.

A big thanks to those that helped out today, it was a lot of jokes, good natured stirring and great fun - the reason I run the forum is for people and days like today.
Members were kept on their toes - cooking, slicing, serving and talking - big thanks to Ivan for his support of the Club.
I think we all deserved the 'lemonade' Ivan shouted at the end of the day.

I got a lesson myself once the sausage king arrived.

never knew onions can only be flipped clockwise
