Excellent example of why you use a top pocket net and how easy a good net makes it all look.  Who makes that net you were using???    ::) ::) ::) ;) ;) ;D

Thanks, Fisharwashe. Its a new style I engineered/invented. The top half is "pizza design. Bottomhalf Bullseye. Made of one continual piece of mono with the pocket sown on. Less than 700 stitches in the entire net. Not much different to others. Just another style.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Yeah, true. Most people that bknow me know I sort the big ones and throw the smalls and mediums straight back. To swim away. Unfortunately the gulls grab the odd one before it swims downward. So I spear them into the water to make them "Kick" or flick.I must have got about 25 litres that morning. I got home with 9 litres of biggies. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just out of curiosity, does that mean if that one piece of continual mono breaks the whole net will fall apart?
