Myself , Anthony Lee and Ross Tinder went for a chuck today. It was great to have us all in the one boat. We got the crystal ball out and looked a Peros reports from next week so we could find the prawns today. It was awesome. Great season eh!

Lol 700 members but no netmakers selling their wares. Maybe you should sign up Stan?

A bucket at the salt works today. Took about 2 1/2 hours. Weather was good early but a bit bumpy on the way back to Redland boat ramp. Thanks for the tip boys.

No need to macka, I nearly have those 397 nets you wanted finished. I'm enjoying my "hobby".
And... I heard another netmaker was told to leave your page, if he wanted to remain on the original.Guess what he opted for. ;D

Hi,

Skip and I went for a prawn this morning. They are still around the yachts at Lamb, west of the salt works and off the end of Karra but not in big schools. Had a couple of reasonable pockets but other times a few and maybe up to a dozen other times. We plugged away and both ended up with a bucket each and home at midday.

Cheers,

Ross

If they're around much longer I might have my new boat before they disappear!

I thought I sold the old one at the right time but I jumped the gun it seems.

Any tips on where to go and try? And roughly what time?
    Cheers

Nugget has a show Saturday mornings from 5.30am to 6.30am on 101fm . On there, I usually do a prawning report. - Yesterday I mentioned prawns were in the Pine, Logan , And Saltworks area at Macleay Island.
A fellow I sold a net to yesterday morning texted, to advise me he bagged out at the salts.

That's good, should see a few boats there this weekend, even the stealthy ones.

Just head straight to the saltwx. You will bag out easily.
